We as humans have been gifted with the extraordinary power of choice. Every day we have to use this gift and face certain choices and make decisions. As we choose and make decisions, we create emotions, thoughts, ideas, relationships and so much more. We have the power to create love, peace, hope, joy, happiness, excitement, and gratitude. We also have the power to be angry, to hate, to be sad, to feel lonely and to overall feel. This power to feel these emotions also gives us the Greater Power to learn from these emotions and allow us to release them and become wiser on our journey. All these emotions are solely derived from the actions we take in life.
It is not just our emotions that make us such distinctive and extraordinary beings, but it is what we choose to do in our lives that also contribute to us being human. We can watch ourselves go through individual and unique personal stages as time goes by and all those stages become continually shaped by the daily choices that we have the liberty to make.
Everything in our life now is there because of all the little choices we have made along the way. Yes, we do have the power to make choices, however we do not have the power or insight to determine the exact outcome of the choices we make. The consequences of choices we make in life is the actual mystery of life, the real essence of life. Life would lose its value if we knew the exact outcome of every choice we make. The unpredictability of life is its true beauty.

How we react to the outcome of the choice we made is what determines our sanity and state of mind. Here again, we are faced with a choice. Do we become bitter or do we get better? Every outcome, whether good or bad, is there to teach us something. Let us start learning.
For us to accept and learn from the consequences of our choices, try to make every decision with the best and purest of intention. This way, the unwanted consequence will have a huge lesson from the Higher Power.
“Man is not the creature of circumstances; circumstances are the creature of man”
